As a specialist After-Builders cleaning company, we are proud of our flexible approach and of our capacity to accommodate the needs of our clients, even at short notice.
BRS boast nearly ten years of industry experience and have developed our expertise in a wide range of cleaning services such as Builders cleaning, Warehouse cleaning, Industrial cleaning, Deep cleaning, Contract cleaning and End of tenancy cleaning.
Our clients range from Global construction firms to medium-sized and smaller local ones, reputable lettings agencies and private landlords and tenants, accommodation services and housing associations, local councils and business owners predominantly in the south of the UK (although we do offer national coverage for larger Builders cleaning projects). We are based just outside London at the M25 Business Centre, Waltham Abbey, Essex and thus we tend to focus on the south of the country –approximately a 100-mile radius outside of London. However, we do have teams available to travel further afield.
Most of our business is achieved via recommendation – we have done very little advertising. This means that our reputation is of paramount importance and thus, we take great pride in the high standards of our work. As a limited company, we are fully insured and hold Public Liability Insurance up to the value of £5M and Employer’s Insurance up to £10M. All of our meticulous workers are industry experienced, fully trained and CSCS qualified.
An SSSTS and First Aid qualified supervisor is sent to each job regardless of how small the job might be. For Builders cleans a site-specific risk assessment is carried out prior to any work being undertaken and a copy, along with a copy of the method statement is issued to the client . For larger Builders cleaning projects, our supervisors deliver toolbox talks, daily briefings and safe starts, all of which serve to re-emphasise the importance of Health & Safety in keeping with our company policies. All of our operatives are subject to vetting procedures at the interview stage and all are required to wear full company uniform. This means that our clients have the comfort of knowing that their homes and possessions are in safe and trustworthy hands. Having our staff wear uniform further reassures our clients, members of the public and other workers that the purpose of our presence is a professional one.

Our experience in deep cleaning means that we are not taken aback if we are faced with a particularly challenging job – this is the norm for us. BRS does not clean merely what can be seen visually but ensure to fully remove all of the dust and germs that lurk beneath surfaces to ensure that a hygienic environment and fresh and pleasant atmosphere is created. Regardless of the type of clean booked, we ensure to remove paint, stains, limescale, and grease from all surfaces and appliances. Our ethos is such that we clean anything and everything that we come into contact within the property that we are cleaning. At BRS we like to make a difference and impact on the future of those we come in contact with. Popping in just for 1 hour or so does not really allow us to make much of a difference and so when we carry out our deep cleans we like to encourage our customers to maintain it themselves and we continually offer them tips to do so via email updates and product recommendations. Every customer is different and so we propose a cleaning plan of action depending on your lifestyle and requirements and schedule periodic deep cleans to suit – these could be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly. No clean is signed off and deemed as complete until our checklist is fully ticked off by the supervisor present during their final check of the property. For larger projects such as builders cleans, the job is not signed off as complete until a client satisfaction sheet is signed by the contractor. This further ensures that no areas are missed and allows us to maintain our reputation for high-quality cleaning as we continue to grow and expand our business.
All of our supervisors possess either a company smartphone or tablet and use this device to capture before and after shots of the job on hand. These photos, along with the completed checklist and any relevant notes are then sent to the office, reviewed by management and kept on file. Many of our clients also like us to send these photos on completion of the clean for their records. With some of our clients, we have developed effective ways of working via online portals for this purpose.
Access to such devices also enables BRS to efficiently organize our workloads and staff rotas and communicate with our operatives. Subsequently, we are able to respond promptly to any queries, resolve any potential issues and accommodate last-minute bookings. As we cater for emergency clean-ups in the event of damage to a property for instance and for student accommodation services and housing associations, last-minute bookings come as no surprise to us and as such, we offer a 24-hour call-out service and our hours of operation are seven days a week with great flexibility in the event that a clean is urgently required.
BRS aims to establish long-lasting relationships with our clients and thus, we tailor our cleaning service to suit you. We listen to your requests and work with you to ensure that your needs are met. With one of the directors out on jobs overseeing things and the other office-based, a BRS representative will always be available to help.

This means that we guarantee that you will be pleased with the result and if not, we offer a free-call back service to correct any issues in the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied. That we are able to offer this call-back service for free speaks for itself as if it happened on a regular basis, we would surely not be able to continue to do it for free. It is because of the unlikelihood of a call-back occurring that we do not need to charge for it. We usually do not price per hour but per job – this means that it is our full responsibility to complete the works to a high quality for the agreed price, even if it means putting in extra hours than initially anticipated. This means that you get better value for your money as you pay for a quality clean and not for cleaning by the hour.
